Destination and Settling-In Services

AIReS provides advanced support to help the employee and family welcome the changes ahead. A welcome packet includes maps, emergency contact numbers, information on local social organizations, and other information pertinent to their area of relocation.

The following services are provided to help the family easily adjust to their new location:

Meet and Greet — meeting the employee and family at the airport and providing transportation to overnight accommodations.

Area Orientation — highlighting neighborhoods, local shopping, banking, recreational and medical facilities.

School Search and Registration — arranging orientations and personal interviews with school officials and providing registration assistance and prepayment of tuition and registration fees.

Rental Home Finding — showing appropriate properties that meet the family's needs.

Lease Negotiation Assistance — translating, interpreting and negotiating the lease agreement.

Settling-in Services — assisting the employee and family with registrations, such as obtaining a driver's license, applying for a social security card, and setting up a bank account. (This service does not include services related to visas and immigration paperwork.)

Our consultant can also help the family connect utilities, contact local maintenance workers, and provide information on services such as domestic help and childcare.

As always, the AIReS Relocation Specialist will be available throughout the process to address the family’s questions or concerns.

AIReS Connect

AIReS Connect is an interactive web site that allows relocating employees within the United States to browse and schedule different types of services for their new home. This technology reduces the time spent searching and calling for utilities and other home service providers.

After entering an address into the system:

- Users can find specific services by selecting from a list of categories.
- The user can compare, side-by-side, up to three service providers at once.
- Comparisons are viewed in a simple, easy-to-read "Consumer Reports" format.
- Service providers individually update their specific offerings, ensuring current information. Service fees are listed in the comparison pages.
- Service providers offer AIReS Connect users money-saving specials through the database.
- Common information, such as user's full name and home address, are transferred through the secure account. The user does not have to waste time entering repetitive information.
- Each provider lists accepted payment options, including money order, check, major credit cards and electronic transfer.
