Terror Alert in Mumbai After Explosions July 14, 2011— Officials in Mumbai have pleaded for citizens to remain calm after three explosions took place in crowded areas Wednesday evening. The Home Ministry has placed the country on high terror alert due to the three bombings that have been confirmed as a terrorista attack—two in South Mumbai at the Opera House and in Zaveri Bazar, and one at Dadar West, in central Mumbai. The National Investigation Team (NIA) is currently at work collecting forensic evidence from the bombing scenes.
