India X Entry Visa Alert February 21, 2011— February 21, 2011— Expatriates accompanying their spouse India on X Entry Visa who are on intra company transfer can now convert to an Employment Visa within country, permitting them to take up employment in India. This saves the need to exit and re-enter. Permitting such conversion, the recent guidelines released by Indian Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, adds e a need to secure prior approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Foreigners Division, after obtaining a report from the FRRO/FRO concerned. This task will be in addition to fulfilling all the other conditions for issuance of grant of Employment Visa. |
